The Malaysian Oil & Gas Services Council or MOGSC was formed on 1st December, 2003.
MOGSC had its origins as an initiative by PETRONAS™ Cost Reduction Alliance or better known as CORAL, to establish an association driven by the Malaysian Oil & Gas Service Providers.
MOGSC became active and fully operational in early 2004. Though still a relatively young organisation, MOGSC is now the leading business forum for service providers in the Malaysian Oil & Gas Industry with the largest grouping of companies.
MOGSC is committed to the promotion and development of the Malaysian Oil & Gas Services Sector, and represent members interests by showcasing their capabilities and expertise.
MOGSC promotes the positioning of Malaysia as a hub of excellence for resources, products and services for the global oil & gas industry and positively contribute towards nation building through the development of the Malaysian Oil & Gas Industry.
MOGSC contributes in the development of the Malaysian oil & gas industry by working positively and collaborate with PETRONAS, government, oil & gas players, industry players and other industry stakeholders.
MOGSC is specially proud that MOGSC members represent the diverse and extensive range of services found in the Malaysian Oil & Gas Industry, from the big players to the specialist services businesses. A number of MOGSC members are already successful overseas as Malaysian Oil & Gas Service Providers make significant inroads into other oil & gas regions flying the Malaysian flag.
Since 2009 MOGSC's presence and visibility has increased significantly across the industry through participation in various initiatives with industry stakeholders and government to collaborate in the interest of the industry and the national economy.
