The Malaysian Oil & Gas Services Council or MOGSC was formed on 1st December, 2003. MOGSC has its origins as an initiative by PETRONAS™ Cost Reduction Alliance or better known as CORAL, to establish an association driven by the Malaysian oil & gas services industry.
MOGSC showcases the capabilities and expertise of members, while promoting the interests of the Malaysian oil & gas service providers, and actively supports to make Malaysia a principal player for products, services and resourcesfor the global oil & gas industry.
MOGSC contributes in the development of the Malaysian oil & gas industry by working positively and collaborate with PETRONAS, government, oil & gas players, industry players and other industry stakeholders.
With a growing membership portfolio and the most active association in the Malaysian oil & gas industry today, MOGSC represents the largest grouping of Malaysian oil & gas service providers. MOGSC is specially proud that MOGSC members represent the diverse and extensive range of services found in the Malaysian oil & gas industry, from the big players to the specialist services businesses. A number of MOGSC members are already successful overseas as Malaysian Oil & Gas service providers make inroads into other oil & gas regions flying the Malaysian flag.
